14th November 2012 - Angela Moles and Emma Johnston were joint winners of the NSW Science and Engineering award for Excellence in Biological Sciences (Plant, Agriculture and Environment) 24th October 2012 - Habacuc Flores won the Evolution & Ecology Research Centre prize for best seminar at departmental postgraduate forum 22 October 2012 - Papers from Fiona Thomson and Joanna Buswell's theses are among the 10 most cited papers in the Journal of Ecology from 2011, and one of Angela's papers is among the 10 most cited papers in Functional Ecology from 2011. 5 June 2012 - Rhiannon Dalrymple won the Evolution & Ecology Research Centre prize for best seminar at departmental postgraduate forum 1 June 2012 - Angela talks with Joel Werner on Off Track on ABC's Radio National 14 Feb 2012 - Joanna Buswell's paper on rapid evolution was awarded runner-up in the BES Young Investigator awards 2 Feb 2012 - Claire Brandenburger was awarded a prestigious UNSW Research Excellence Award 7 September 2011 - Angela Moles won the Eureka Young Investigator Prize 1 August 2011 - Rhiannon Dalrymple has been awarded a university medal for her undergrad/hons performance 28th July 2011 - Rhiannon Dalrymple was awarded a prestigious UNSW Research Excellence Award 26th July 2011- Laura Warman has accepted a fantastic postdoc position working on hybrid ecosystems in Hawaii with Susan Cordell, Rebecca Ostertag and Peter Vitousek 14th July 2011 - Fiona Thomson's latest paper got this awesome write up by the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14076475
